The Davao City Water District Regional Training Center was established in 1979 after the Local Water Utilities Administration tapped DCWD as one of the partners of LWUA-Water Resources Research and Training Department (LWUA-WRRTD).

Since then, the DCWD-RTC has been designing and conducting training programs which are intended to capacitate employees and water districts. Hence, it garnered the BEST REGIONAL TRAINING CENTER award in 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2014, overpowering six other Regional Training Centers from all over the Philippines.

What We Do

We provide programs intended for the development of DCWD employees and different water districts all over the country. We conduct trainings, seminars, conventions and conferences which are expected to influence the attitude, skills and knowledge of the participants.

Being in the service for more than three decades, we have also successfully developed a pool of in-house subject matter expert resource speakers trained by respected universities and training institutions.

Our role is not only limited to that, we also accept On-The-Job Training (OJT) students from various schools, which we believe will be a great help for the students in their school requirements and for their employment in the future.
