Emergency Water Interruption

As of 10:30AM, Cabantian Production well no. 3 has resumed its operation. However, far and elevated areas may still experience low water pressure to no water as DCWD needs additional time for pressure build-up and line delivery. May 16, 2021, Sunday, from 9:30AM with no estimated time of resumption


All areas served by Cabantian Water Supply System 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀: Dacudao Village, Kasilak Village, Amakan Village, Arendain Village, Green Orchard Village, Leonora Garden Heights Subd., Canaan Village, Mountain View Village, Suraya Homes, Northcrest Subd., North Town, Ramon Nena Village, Emily Homes, Deca Homes, Chula Vista, Cabantian Country Homes, Cecilia Heights, Priscilla Estate, Remedios Heights, and Greenland Subd 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀: Molave Homes, lndangan Relocation, Anita’s Homeowners Association, Nueva Esperanza Village, Sto. Temporary stop operation of Cabantian Production Well No. 3 due to the non-operation of its complementary water treatment facility.


1) Water supply may be restored earlier if emergency works go smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.

2) DCWD conducts line flushing after repair works are completed. However, once water is restored, customers are advised to open all faucets and allow water to run for at least two minutes. Do not drink tap water immediately but if needed, boil water beforehand as safety precaution..

3) This information is disseminated through print and broadcast media, DCWD website (www.davao-water.gov.ph), official Facebook page (DCWD) and telephone voicemail 235-3293 (DCWD).

4) Always store water in clean and covered containers for emergency use. Leak repairs, downtime in DCWD facilities, and other unforeseen circumstances may cause low water pressure to no water.
