Scheduled Water Interruption

Posted Date:       12/03/2019

WHEN:

From 8:00 PM of Thursday, December 5, 2019 until 5:00 AM of Friday, December 6, 2019 (9 hours)

WHERE:

Some Bajada areas: Portion of J.P. Laurel Avenue (from corner Durian Hotel to corner Trade School Drive), portion of Trade School Drive (from corner J.P. Laurel Avenue to corner Sobrecary Street), Mitsuibussan Village, and immediate environs

WHY:

Water supply has to be temporarily shut off in the affected areas to give way to the tapping and installation of gate valve to DCWD’s existing pipeline for the water connection of Bormaheco, Inc. along J.P. Laurel Avenue in Bajada.

Notes:

1) Benefit of the service improvement project: Accommodation of additional service connections

2) The would-be affected customers are advised to store water in clean and covered containers prior to the schedule.

3) Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.

4) DCWD conducts flushing after service works are completed. However, once water is restored, customers are advised to open all faucets and allow water to run for at least two minutes. Do not drink tap water immediately but if needed, boil water beforehand as safety precaution.
