The Davao City Water District visited three elementary schools representing the three congressional public districts of the city. This is part of the annual Water Consciousness Month celebration.

Schools visited were Matina Pangi Elementary School, in Matina, Daniel M. Perez ES in Bunawan and Bartolome ES in Manuel Guianga, Tugbok District.

Selected DCWD staff lectured on water cycle, water conservation and water facts to Grades 3 to 6 pupils. Around 1000 benefited from this school activity.
Each pupil received customized notebook, pencil, crayon, pad paper and candies. The teachers and principals of said school also received posters on water cycle and water conservation and customized notebooks.

This activity supplemented the lectures received by the children in the daily classroom discussion. This project, which is now on its 8th year, is purposely coined to educate the children on the importance of water and watershed.
