This year, around 200 youth from high schools and colleges in the city will once again troop to DCWD Park in Malagos for a three – day ecological camp on April 3 – 5, 2009 themed “Sustainable Water for the Youth Today and for the Next Generation”.
This activity aims to develop and produce well – informed youth environmental advocates. From this topic, the youth will design plans as to their participation in the implementation of the same.
Other highlights include team building exercises, workshops, review of the 2008 - 2009 WMYC plans and the induction of officers for SY 2009-2010. Expected to grace the event are key representatives from environmental agencies. |
