| Malagos tots receive school supplies from DCWD |

Pupils of Upper Malagos Day Care Center in Baguio District were all beaming with pride when they received school supplies from the Davao City Water District last June 29, 2010.
Staff from the DCWD – Environment and Watershed Protection Division distributed customized school bags containing pad papers, crayons and pencils in order to motivate the children in attaining basic education. |

The new and third well to serve Cabantian and expand Indangan service coverage has been blessed and inaugurated last June 18, 2010.
Located in Barangay Indangan, the blessing was officiated by Msgr. Matt Gorgonio, parish priest of the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Indangan, with the presence of Councilor Tomas Monteverde IV, Brgy. Indangan Kagawad Ed Balaga, Davao City Water District Directors Charlemagne B. Aldevera and Abdul M. Dataya, officers and staff led by DCWD general manager Rodora N. Gamboa, and some local residents. A short progam followed. |

“Age does not matter when care for the environment is concerned. The youths play important roles in its protection as they surely are its future stewards”.
This strong message was commonly conveyed by the speakers to the 109 youth-participants in this year’s ecological camp of the Davao City Water District which was held at DCWD Malagos Park in Calinan last April 30 to May 2. It carried the theme “A Decade of 3S: Service, Struggle, Success for our Watersheds and for our Furture”. |
